Zuckie (love the name) sounds like an amazing horse. Do you know breeding? The reason I ask is because i used to work at Kendal Hill Stud Farm, and was wondering if he is an Aces and Sevens....they make Wonderful riding horses!! (I'm sure his owners would love to hear that lol)

Horse's in my childhood have came and went, but the most memorable horses i can think of would have to be, my first, third, and fifth horse. Gypsy, was my first horse; a 33 year old Arabian-Grey. She was very petient and did anything youd ask of her. She taught me not only to be pietient, but loving also. My third horse, Heartbreaker was also one of my favorite. He was 27 years old, but acted like a little kid. he was very, very sweet. When you rode him, he never wanted to walk. Always either gaiting, or trotting. I didnt know, nor was i used to a Tennessee Walker's gait's, but over time as we got use to eachother, somehow i broke him out of gaiting how he did, and his favorite gaits after that were walking, cantering or galloping. Lol. Ive showed him at many local shows, and hes won me second's and first's many time's. He taught me to be confident, and trusting. He was my baby. About two years after i got Heartbreaker, he came down with a fever and passed away two days later. I was very, very upset. about a month or two later, i got my fifth horse. a retired racing Standardbred named Caddy's Got A Gun. (a.k.a "Caddy") i got him when he was 12 years old, and i hope to have many more years with him. he stands at 17h and is solid white, except for a few grey spotting along his hindquarters, ankles, and face. hes a big boy, but the first few times riding and showing him, i tried not to let his size intimidate me. a month or two after settling in with the other horses, a thunderstorm hit mid-afternoon. the horse's were all in, and while i went to do my horse chores for the night, i found my eldest horse Gypsy lying down in her stall, when i tryed to get her up, i noticed that she was favoring her leg and she'd fall right back down. we called the vet that night, and he came and gave her some pain med's to ease her pain. a couple minutes later she felt as if she could get up. she tried and tried, but finally gave up, and fell back down. i finally decided that instaed of having her suffer laying there, she'd have to be put to sleep. Caddy was pacing the stalls outside the whole time. not only did i loose another great horse, Caddy lost his bestfriend. i got another horse about a month or two later; a retired throughbred named "Jackie". shes just as sweet and reminds me of Gypsy in many ways. i still miss her and Heartbreaker to death, but Caddy is an amazing horse, and showing him, we've done pretty well. im 17 now, and im looking forward to many great years ahead with him (:

I've had horse my whole life. And my mother had horse's her whole life. I started off riding when I 2 on a sweet little mare named Nala. Then moved on to a Kaimanawa mare called Betsy. When my younger sister was born Betsy had her foal 2 days after her His name is Jazz. When my sister was 11 months old right as I started school, she got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I guess being the youngest for 5 years of my life I was used to my parents doting on me, and then right as I started school my sister took up even more of the attention and I became withdrawn and unhappy. The only thing that really helped me was lying on Betsy's back while she walked around the paddock. And then to make matters worse we moved and I left all my friends behind and went to a new school where I was the only girl my age in the entire school. When I turned 12 my parents seemed to notice something was wrong with me and took me to get a mental health check. Turns out I had BPD Borderline Personality Disorder which made me lash out and become over emotional. They put me on some medication and as a peace offering brought me a little chestnut Pony called Buster whom I had been riding at my cousins. He taught me to jump and canter which made me start to get happier, However over the past 6 years he became a lot slower and last year we found out he was 30 years old. I ended up being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in april of last year and finding out my pony may not live much longer caused my BPD to get worse.... So we started looking for another horse to keep Buster company and let him retire from my hard out riding and let him become a every so often riding pony for my younger sister. After 3 months of searching we came across Big Boy whom is now called Speedy. He's a 15.1-15.2hh Dark Bay 13 year old gelding. We bought him after the first ride. He'd been officially called TK Speedster and after contacting his breeder I found out He'd come off the Track in 2010 and hadn't been retrained properly at all as he still raced trucks and motorbikes and still hates being in a ring and going in circles. Now he's the sweetest Horse I know and after a year of getting him fit enough My friend and I are going to start endurance riding. Speedy is my safe haven He knows what I'm feeling and knows what to do to make me feel better.
