Hi folks, I'm new to the board, and I see that most everyone is from Canada. Im from the US so I hope that doesnt exclude me. I have two off the track STB geldings, both Artsplace colts. I re-trained them as pleasure riding horses and do a bit of showing, trail riding and driving. Im also interested in dressage and hope to improve enough to try a couple tests soon. I've enjoyed reading about everyones horses and think that this is a real nice forum.

Of course it doesn't exclude you! If you love STBD's you're welcome here anytime! I like dressage too and so we'll have to swap training advise. Welcome to the board, and don't forget to post pics of your horses!

hey, Welcome. i've been seriously contemplating doing some dressage with my mare as she is so soft and responsive to pressure, right now i'm doing western with her though, hoping to do some western pleasure etc., gonna go to the western show and kick butt in the walk/TROT games! lol. how do u think a standardbred would be at reining? (just starting to get into some reining patterns with the school horses i ride, except for spins and rollbacks or sliding stops. schoolies don't do that yet, can't wait though!) so yeah when i look at that, pretty much just riding around in circles, Great. lol P.S. we all LOVE pictures (the more, the better)
