Hi there! My names Jill or SnapHappyHillbilly. Found out about this site from another board. I'm 20 years old, own a photography and graphic arts business while I'm in school taking Autobody and Paint. I grew up on a beef farm, in New Brunswick. I take a lot of shots at the local harness racing track, and will share if people are interested.
My boys:
Billyjo Bayama (Billy, Bijo)
Tara's Temptation x Runnymede Lobell
We got him when he was 7, was off the Saint John NB track. An injury to his hind hock retired him from racing, and he was bought by a lady. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the lady got sick and couldn't take care of him, and her family didn't either. So he was very thin when we got him, but no physical abuse. Anyway, he's been at my place since, been in 4H with me, competed a bit, but arthritis has set into the hind hock where his injury is so he's pretty much just a pasture pal now.
Any Witz Way (Clint)
Clint came to us a couple years back, originally for my sister to ride, but I've taken over his training/and now show him in 4H.. ha Horse stealer I guess. Anyway, he was a trotter on the track and would break to much. Only ran 2 races i believe. Anyway we bought him, he was also off the Saint John, NB track. He's been ridden western mostly but some english. He's been a little harder to train, taken longer, but he was younger when we got him. He's a GREAT horse. Both of them are actually. Point and go and they'll go. Will be showing him western this year. Gonna try and get him to slow down and collect. Maybe cross train english a bit as well. He'd be an awesome jumper. Or a games horse. Has so much speed and power.
Both of my boys.
Clint is 15.2 and Billy is 15.3.. Bill is just farther back. Ha looks old and frail in that pic.
