I have now owned my Welsh/Standardbred mare for one year, and what a difference! She was five when I bought her, and I adore her. She has a wonderful temperament and learns very quickly. Although she is not ready for the canter (maybe next year - it is somewhat lateral) she is great to lunge, am driving her in the round pen, and can now be ridden at a walk/trot at a reasonable pace. The former owner used her more as a pet than a horse, so she is like a 3-year old who is just learning. I will post a photo when I can. She is 15.3 hh, black, and looks more Welsh than standardbred. She is now registered as a Half-Welsh with the Welsh Cob/Pony Society in Canada. Although I am a Quarter horse woman, I love this mare. Elaine.

certainly you can email any pictures to morningstaracres@gmail.com and I could post.
Best way is to have a photobucket acct where they supply a link for you to insert here as you post and your pictures appear.....There is a sticky post on how to post pictures under the general section/picture section and this should help you also.
