aka "Artie" came to live with me last summer. He was acquired through a private adoption. He is really enjoying his retirement living on my small hobby farm. His birthday is February 3, 1994 and he was foaled in Versailles, Kentucky, bred by Robert McIntosh Stables & Michael Timpano. Robert McIntosh (the breeder) has a super impressive resume as well. Sire: Artsplace (1988) Dam: In Your Dreams (1988) His grandfather is the very famous Abercrombie. In his nine year career Artie earned $273,660. I think he has earned a well deserved retirement.

If you think this is the Robert McIntosh who bred Artie, it would be kind of fun to contact him and let him know where Artie ended up. You don't happen to have contact information for him do you? Thanks SG

Google McIntosh Stables Windsor/Amhertsburg Ontario
He is a very busy man indeed. Also you can get contact info through STB Canada by emailing them.

Well you've got a very hard working boy. And a very handsome one too. STB's have that deep, gorgeous hue to their bays coats. I'm glad he found such a nice home.

Robert McIntosh just won an O'Brien award in 2008 for breeding. He does very often have some pretty great horses. One of my staffers used to work there so I could probably get his number for you if you want it. He is pretty busy as MSA said tho, so you may have a lil difficulty snagging him. Artie is a cutie! Im glad he has a new fun career with you : D

I used to look after Art's Dream when I worked for Stutzman. We all used to laugh because when he drank water after he raced it would always come out his nose!! He was a good old boy!
