Kelso, my 5 year old 15'2hh STB. He is a dark bay or wild bay and unlike most STBs he has a very cute head and is overall very cute. He also likes to stand tall which makes him seem a lot like a 16hh horse. Kelso used to be a pacer but now he is a very nice trotter and he walks and bends and goes straight all rather nicely. BUT me and him have a low understanding on a collected and slow canter. He thinks a canter is fast and un balanced and overall dumb looking... I dont. Yes he canters beautifully on a longe line and even by himself in an arena and I have once gotten a beautiful canter both ways in an arena but he broke quite easily. As for all the other times he either speeds or bucks and kicks like crazy (but never meanly more stubbornly aka hes not trying to buck me off of him) Also Kelso LOVES to jump. I can jump him over a 2'9 fence with ease (well at least he does it with ease lol) he also loves to free jump and can jump over 3ft with that and easily clear it. But again me and him have a problem, he will appear to go right to the jump and want to jump it then at the last second he deeks out of the way (quite fast and quite easily) and it is a problem. So I am also working on that one. Got any ideas? As for his personality he is a sweet heart and doesn't spook at anything. I bet I could stand on him and he wouldn't care. He loves to play though and is often quite funny. He always keeps me amused. But he is also quite stubborn and likes to test my patience which is quite annoying. But I love him Btw thats Kelso
