Howdy from Southern Ohio..I learned of you all from Morning Star acres MB. Looks like a great MB with some good info. My kids first horse was a Standardbred/Walker cross. He was the best teacher for them. He is the one that started there love for horses. I use to board my horses at a place that also did paid trail rides and there preferred horse to use was Standardbreds. They do really well on the trails. We now have a grade Walker that I feel also has some Standardbred in him as well. He is my son's horse they are like 2 peas in a pod. I have 3 other horses another Walker, a Rocky Mtn and an Appy all geldings. Here is a picture of Darth my son's Waker cross. Do you all see some standardbred in him ?

Hey Gissy I finally made it over here

Thank you Truce We are so happy with Darth. He is my son's first horse that he picked out for himself. His other 2 were hand me downs from his older sister. Darth and him just clicked right off. I just love a Walker STB cross. They make wonderful smooth and speedy rides with lots of sense. Now don't get me wrong I love a full stock STB as well. I must admit my son has the fastest horse in the barn. Which he loves it makes him feel grown up.
