I'm Jaci and 2 months ago I bought a 10 year old standardbred mare named Crimson Jiffy. She is 16hh and built like a tank, but is also terrified of a few odd things, like trotting poles and fly spray. She raced for several years, and we are currently working under saddle. She is proved a challenge, but she is a willing partner and tries hard to please. I have been riding since I was 6, but took a break while I was in school. I have moved home and have only one year left in university, and have decided to get back into riding. I will be checking here regularly, as there are not many places to chat about SBs that I have found, and I am excited to see what you guys are doing with your horses.
